Recipe Variations
- Candy Melts – Drizzle the top with vibrant green candy melts for added flavor.
- M&M – You can use a red M&M instead of a red candy sprinkle.
- Green Food Coloring – Use more or less green food coloring depending on how vibrant you want the color.
Step by Step Instructions
- Step 1 – Prepare Pan – Spray a 9X13 pan with a non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

Step 2 – Place the butter and marshmallow in a large saucepan. Melt butter together over low heat stirring frequently. Once the ingredients are melted and combined, remove from heat.

Step 3 – Add in the green gel food coloring until the mixture is a vibrant green coloring. Continue adding until your desired shade of green.

Step 4 – Slowly stir in the Rice Krispie Cereal. Mix until the cereal is coated in the mini marshmallows and butter mixture.

Step 5 – Press the mixture into the prepared baking sheet. I like to spray a piece of parchment paper with non-stick spray. Use that parchment paper to press the cereal down into the baking dish. Top with red heart sprinkles and serve.
Recipe Tips
