Ingredients needed - mint chocolate chip ice cream, milk, green food coloring, almond bark, green sprinkles, red heart sprinkles, whipped cream, maraschino cherry

  • Boozy Grinch Milkshakes – If you are looking for making a boozy milkshake add in Kahlua. You can still add the red grinch heart to the top of the milkshake.
  • Green Smoothie – If you are looking for a healthier option, make a smoothie recipe with spinach. Load the smoothie with banana, pineapple and whole milk.
  • Melted White Chocolate – Instead of using almond bark, melt white chocolate chips.
  • Change Ice Cream – Make this milkshake with vanilla ice cream and dye it with green food coloring gel. Continue to add until the right green color you desire.

Step by Step Instructions

  • Step 1 – Melt chocolate – Melt the almond bark based on the package instructions in a large bowl.

  • Step 2 – Dip glass – Place the rim of 1 serving cup in the almond bark. To coat the top of the rim with the melted almond bark.

  • Step 3 – Add Sprinkles – Place the green sprinkles on a plate. Then place the almond bark in the sprinkles. Use your hands to coat the almond bark with the sprinkle mixture.

  • Step 4 – Freeze Cup – Place the cup in the freezer while you prepare the shake. So that the rim mixture will set. 
  • Step 5 – Blend Ingredients – Add the ice cream, milk and green food coloring to a blender.  Blend until smooth. 
  • Step 6 – Pour Milkshake – Pour the milkshake into the prepared glasses.  Top with generous amount of the whipped cream, a red heart sprinkle and a cherry.  
  • Step 7 – Serve and Enjoy – Serve immediately while cold and enjoy!

  • Ice – Do not add ice to the milk shake as it will water down the shake before serving.  
  • Freeze Glasses – After dipping the milkshake glasses in the melted chocolate, place in the freezer. We think the milkshake taste best in a frosted mug.
  • Double the Recipe – This recipe is for one serving. Feel free to make more and serve in a large pitcher.

Instructions

  • Melt the almond bark based on the package instructions in a large bowl.  Place the rim of 1 serving cup in the almond bark to coat the top of the rim with the melted almond bark.
