We love making desserts for our Christmas dinner. This Toffee Almond Pie has become a family favorite as it loaded with almonds and toffee bits. It is rich in flavor and easy to make.

Start the pie with a prepared pie crust and combine the simple pie filling ingredients. Stir in the slice almonds and pour into the pie crust that has been topped with toffee bits.

The pie is cooked golden brown and the topped with whipped cream for a delicious holiday dessert.

What is Toffee Almond Pie?

Toffee Almond Pie is similar to a pecan pie but with almonds. The almond pie filling is poured into a pie crust that has been layered with toffee bits.

This easy pie recipe filled with toffee is rich and decadent and always a crowd favorite.

Ingredients needed - pie crust, eggs, sugar, corn syrup, butter, cornstarch, toffee bits, almonds

Ingredients:

  • Refrigerated 9 In Pie Crust
  • Large Eggs
  • Sugar
  • Light Corn Syrup
  • Butter, melted
  • Cornstarch
  • Toffee Bits
  • Sliced Almonds

How to Make Toffee Almond Pie:

  • Step 1 – Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 
  • Step 2 – Place the refrigerated pie crust in a 9 inch pie pan and crimp the edges of the crust.
  • Step 3 – Place the pie crust in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
  • Step 4 – Whisk together the eggs, sugar, corn syrup, melted butter and cornstarch until fully combined and the mixture is smooth. Mix in a large bowl.
Prepare the crust and the pie filling
  • Step 5 – Stir in the sliced almonds and make sure that the almonds are completely coated with the pie filling.
  • Step 6 – Place the toffee bits on the bottom of the pie crust.
Stir in slice almonds and place toffee in the crust
  • Step 7 – Pour the filling on top of the crust.
  • Step 8 – Bake for 50-60 minutes until the top and the crust are slightly golden browned.  The center should still be slightly jiggly in the center of the pie.

How to Store Leftover Pie:

Place pie in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap. It will stay good for up to 5 days.

Recipe Notes

Refrigerate the leftover pie covered for up to 1 week.
