Toffee Almond Pie is similar to a pecan pie but with almonds. The almond pie filling is poured into a pie crust that has been layered with toffee bits.

This easy pie recipe filled with toffee is rich and decadent and always a crowd favorite.

  • Large Eggs – Use room temperature eggs for best results
  • Light Corn Syrup – You can also use dark corn syrup if you prefer
  • Butter – Use melted unsalted butter in this recipe
  • Cornstarch – Helps to thicken the pie filling
  • Toffee Bits – You can easily find at your local grocery store in the baking aisle
  • Sliced Almonds – Slice almonds are the best option in this recipe

How to Make Toffee Almond Pie

  • Step 1 – Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 
  • Step 2 – Place the refrigerated pie crust in a 9 inch pie pan and crimp the edges of the crust.
  • Step 3 – Place the pie crust in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
Combine eggs, sugar, corn syrup, butter and cornstarch in a bowl

Step 4 – Whisk together the eggs, sugar, corn syrup, melted butter and cornstarch until fully combined and the mixture is smooth. Mix in a large bowl.

Mix in slice almonds into the egg mixture

Step 5 – Stir in the sliced almonds and make sure that the almonds are completely coated with the pie filling.

Top pie crust with toffee pieces

Step 6 – Place the toffee bits on the bottom of the pie crust.

Pour almond mixture into pie crust

Step 7 – Pour the filling on top of the crust.

  • Step 8 – Bake for 50-60 minutes until the top and the crust are slightly golden browned.  The center should still be slightly jiggly in the center of the pie.
  • Step 9 – Cool completely at room temperature (for approximately 1 hour) and then the pie is ready to slice, serve and enjoy.

  • Baking Pie – If you find that the pie crust is getting to done, you may need to wrap the edges with aluminum foil. This will allow the toffee almond mixture to finish baking.
  • Cool Pie – Before serving the pie, allow the pie to cool completely at room temperature.
