Scroll to the bottom for the full recipe and ingredients.

Variations

  • Sprinkles – If you can’t find the red hearts, you can top the pie with red M&M’s. Feel free to use other types of sprinkles.
  • Crust – You can use a different type of crust. A graham cracker crust would still be delicious.

Step by Step Instructions

Crushing the Oreos in a food processor

Step 1 – Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor. Or place them in a Ziplock bag and bash with a rolling pin.

Pressing the Oreo Crust into the pie plate

Step 2 – Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. I like to use the bottom of a glass cup for this.

Adding in the green food coloring to the cream cheese mixture

Step 3 – In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until soft. Add the green gel food coloring until you get the color that you desire.

Stirring in cool whip into the cream cheese mixture

Step 4 – Gently stir in half of the cool whip.

Spreading the green layer on the Oreo crust

Step 5 – Spoon the filling into the pie crust then smooth the top.

Step 6 – Top with the rest of the cool whip.  Sprinkles the green sprinkles and red heart sprinkles on top.

  • Step 7 – Place in the fridge to chill for at least an hour before serving.
  • Step 8 – Then the pie is ready to slice, serve and enjoy!

How to Serve

This no bake pie can be served in many different ways. We always like to serve with a glass of milk as it pairs perfectly with the Oreo Crust.

  • Top the pie with white chocolate chips for added flavor when serving.
  • Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • Top with extra cool whip for added flavor.

Recipe Tips

  • Chill Pie –  Make sure that the pie is fully set when chilling before slicing. The pie will be easy to cut into nice clean slices if completely set.
  • Cream Cheese – Before blending the cream cheese filling, make sure the cream cheese has softened. This helps to make the mixture soft and creamy.

How to Store

Refrigerate the leftover pie for up to 3 days.
