- Combining Ingredients – We recommend not overmixing brownie ingredients. Blend with a hand mixer until batter is smooth.
- Baking Brownie – You will know when brownie is done when the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cream Cheese – We recommend using softened cream cheese. This helps to blend the cream cheese mixture smooth and creamy. We like to use full fat cream cheese as it taste better than reduce fat.
- Line the baking dish – Line the baking dish with parchment paper or foil. This will allow you to lift the entire pan of brownies out once cooked. You can then transfer to a cutting board to easily cut the brownies.
How Do you Cut Brownies Cleanly:
As long as you follow these easy tips for cutting them, each square should be clean cut. They will look amazing on your dessert table and so pretty.
- Cool Completely – Make sure the brownies have completely cooled before cutting. If you try to cut brownies before they have timed to cool, it could result in not a clean cut.
- Use Plastic Knife – The best way to cut brownies is with a plastic knife. They are non stick and help to ensure clean cuts. If you do not want to use a plastic knife, you can use a regular knife. However, I suggest spraying it with cooking spray.
- Wipe Knife – If you see that your have build up on your knife, wipe the knife with a paper towel to continue with clean cuts.
- Hot Water – Another tip is to run the knife under hot water. Just make sure to wipe it off so that it is completely cool before cutting.
