Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Prepare the brownies mix based on the package instructions and pour into an 9X9 baking dish sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl with a hand held mixer.  Blend until smooth.
  • Divide the cream cheese mixture evenly into 3 bowls.
  • Dye 1 bowl red, 1 bowl green and then leave the other bowl white.
  • Then spoon each of the cream cheese mixtures on top of the brownie batters in stripes alternating between the colors.
  • Use a skewer or knife to gently swirl the colors together.  Be careful not to over swirl.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes until the brownies are set.
  • Remove and let the brownies cool completely at room temperature.
  • They are ready to slice, serve and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Refrigerate the leftover brownies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
