Easy Oreo Cake Pops Recipe:

Oreo Cookie balls are always a family favorite desserts. Oreo cookie crumbs combined with cream cheese always makes the best dessert. Top with holiday sprinkles for a fun and festive Oreo Truffles.

These easy instructions make this dessert so easy to make. Oreo balls are dipped in melted chocolate for the perfect amount of sweetness.

Cream cheese, Oreo Cookies, White chocolate almond bark

Ingredients: 

  • Cream Cheese
  • Oreo Cookies (14.5 ounces) 
  • White Chocolate Almond Bark

How to Make Oreo Cake Pops: 

  • Step 1 – Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Crush Oreos in a food processor

Step 2 – Finely crush Oreos in a food processor.

Mix cream cheese in with the crushed oreos in a bowl

Step 3 – Combine cream cheese and crushed cookies. Reserve some of the cookie crumbs for the topping until well blended.

Roll into balls and place on baking sheet

Step 4 – Form mixture into 1″ balls and place on the prepared sheet. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to chill the Oreo balls.

Dip the Oreo balls into melted white chocolate

Step 5 – Heat almond bark by microwaving in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the bark is fully melted.  You can also melt in a double boiler. Melt in a microwave safe bowl. Stick a lollipop stick into each Oreo ball and then dip them into the melted white chocolate coating.  

  • Step 8 – Then place the stick of cake pops in a block of styrofoam. Top with the reserved cookie crumbs immediately and allow the candy coating to dry.
  • Step 9 – Continue until all the Oreo balls have been covered.
  • Step 10 – Allow the Oreo Cake pops to sit at room temperature. Rest until the almond bark has set and then they are ready to serve and enjoy. These cake pops are usually ready to serve within 15 minutes.

Recipe Tips:

  • Baking Sheet – Prepare baking sheet lined with parchment paper to place the dipped Oreo balls.
  • Crush Oreos – We recommend using a food processor to crush Oreos in fine crumbs. You can also crush them with a rolling pin in a ziplock bag.
  • Excess Chocolate – Remove excess chocolate from the Oreo balls before placing on baking sheet.

Variation Ideas:

  • Change Oreos – You can use any type of Oreos. Try them golden Oreos or any holiday flavor.
  • Melted Chocolate Coating – Feel free to use candy melts or dark chocolate chip. To melt to coat the Oreo balls. You can also use white chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate.

  • 1 pound white almond bark

Instructions
