If you have a problem with the cookies spreading, make sure to chill the cookie dough before baking. This allows for the dough to be thicker and sturdier when the dough has been chilled.

Recipe Tips for Melted Snowmen Cookies:

  • Cookie Scoop – To keep the cookies even, we recommend using a cookie scoop to scoop the dough onto the baking sheet.
  • Baking Cookies – Make sure to not to overbake the cookies. Bake the cookies according to package.
  • Frosting the Cookies – To frost the cookies we recommend using a piping bag. But you can also place in a zip lock bag.
  • Decorating Cookies – Make sure the cookies have cooled to room temperature before decorating them.
  • Frosting Drying – Before drawing the black arms on the snowman, we recommend to wait at 30 minutes. This allows the frosting to harden.

  • Marshmallow – Instead of using a marshmallow, feel free to use a peanut butter cup for a chocolate flavor.
