Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Beat together the butter, cream cheese and both types of sugars with an electric mixer.
  • Once combined, add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, stir to combine the flour, salt, cornstarch and baking soda.
  • Then mix the flour mixture into the butter mixture.  Stir until the ingredients are just combined.  Do not over mix.
  • Fold in the crushed Oreo Cookies by hand.
  • Roll the cookie dough into approximately 1.5 Tablespoon size balls and place on a cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 12-13 minutes until the edges of the cookies are slightly brown.
  • Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet and then move to wire racks to cool completely.
