Instructions

  • Beat the cream cheese with a stand up or hand held mixer until soft and creamy.
  • Slowly mix in the cake mix until fully combined.  The mixture will be thick.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  • Place each color of the sanding sugar in a separate shallow bowl and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Scoop out the cake mix dough with a cookie scoop or a tablespoon.  Then roll in the sprinkles to completely cover the ball with the sprinkles.  Then place on the baking sheet.
  • Repeat until all the dough is formed into truffles and make sure to rotate the colors used to have an equal amount of red, green and white truffles.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve and enjoy!

Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
